• 7,268 posts in all: Constable (Civil) 4,219; Constable OISF 2,212; Firefighter 317; Constable (Communication) 300; Driver PMT 154; Firefighting Driver 62; Traffic Constable 4.
• Most posts need 10+2. Constable (Communication) needs +2 Science (PCM) or a 3-year Engineering Diploma.
• Driver posts (Driver PMT, Firefighting Driver, Traffic Constable) need a valid HMV/LMV driving licence, as the notice asks.
• You must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
• Age (as on 1 January 2026): Constable (Civil) 18-26; Constable (Communication) 18-23; OISF 18-23; Firefighter 18-25; Firefighting Driver 18-25; Driver PMT 18-23; Traffic Constable 21-32. SC/ST/SEBC and women candidates get 5 years' relaxation in the upper age.
• Application fee: ₹500 for all categories — SC and ST candidates pay no fee.
• Registration closes 12 November 2026 (10 PM); fee payment and final submission by 13 November 2026.
