Convert Files is a free tool for converting files between formats. By using it you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple.
1. The service
Convert Files converts files inside your web browser. It is provided free of charge, without an account and without limits on how many files you convert. We may change, add or remove features at any time, and may stop offering the site altogether.
2. Your files and your responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you convert. Because conversion happens on your device, you are the only person who ever has them. You are responsible for having the right to use and convert any file you choose, and for not using the tool to break the law or someone else’s rights.
3. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. File conversion is imperfect by nature: some formatting, metadata or quality is lost when moving between formats, and some files will not convert at all. We do not promise that any conversion will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your original files.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is nothing.
5. Fair use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, misrepresent it as your own, or use automated means to load it at a scale that would burden the hosting. The source code runs in your browser and you are welcome to read it.
6. Advertising, tips and sponsors
The site may show advertisements and may carry a named sponsor. Advertisers and sponsors are independent of us and we are not responsible for their products or sites. Tips are voluntary gifts, are not payments for a service, and are not refundable.
7. Privacy
How the site handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of India.
