Photo & signature — what the form asks
- Colour photograph: JPG, 20–50 KB.
- Signature in black ink: JPG, 10–30 KB.
- Upload both in Part-II of the application on the IOCL Pipelines portal.
Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts
Do this
- First enrol on NATS (for Technician/Trade Apprentice) or NAPS (for DEO trades) — the IOCL form needs your enrolment.
- Apply for only ONE trade code — the notice allows a single trade only.
- Keep your NATS/NAPS Establishment ID ready for your region (ERPL, WRPL, NRPL, SRPL or SERPL).
- Check the 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) marks rule and the 30 November 2026 cut-off before applying.
- Upload the photo (20–50 KB) and signature (10–30 KB) in Part-II, exactly in the sizes the notice prints.
Avoid this
- Do not apply if you already hold a BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB or MCA degree — you are not eligible.
- Do not apply if you have already completed an apprenticeship or have 1 year or more of experience after the qualification.
- Do not apply for more than one trade code.
- Do not use a result that is awaited — only candidates who passed by 30 November 2026 are eligible.
- Do not expect a job in IOCL after training — the notice says there is no obligation of employment.
