2,423 school-teacher posts in Himachal's CBSE-affiliated government schools — a five-year scheme engagement at a fixed ₹30,000 monthly honorarium, not a regular post. Dates, sizes and free tools on one page.
Starting soon
Check first: These are NOT regular government posts: all 15 teacher posts are scheme-based, temporary engagements for five years on a fixed honorarium of ₹30,000 per month (payable for 10 months in an academic year). There is no right to regularisation, and the engagement is not counted as government service.

Eligibility & fees
- 2,423 posts in 15 subjects (post codes 26046–26060): English 187, Mathematics 281, Hindi 187, Political Science 156, History 156, Economics 156, plus Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Sanskrit, Computer, Music, Commerce, Physical Education and Fine Arts. The total is the sum of the subject-wise figures in the notice and is tentative.
- Most subjects need a Master's degree in the subject (50%) with B.Ed (50%) and TET passed; English and Mathematics follow their own pattern (55% in the subject at graduation). All qualifications must be held by 5 December 2026.
- Age: 18–45 years as on 1 January 2026. The notice prints this as a single limit for everyone — it does not list category-wise age relaxation.
- One Time Registration (OTR) on the HPRCA portal is compulsory before the online application, and you must be able to teach in Hindi and English.
- Selection: a single Computer Based Test / written screening test — 120 MCQ, 120 marks, 1½ hours. Qualifying marks: 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters. The notice prescribes no negative marking.
- Examination fee ₹100 + processing fee ₹700 = ₹800 for every candidate — there is no category exemption.
- Correction, when the window opens, costs ₹100. The fee once paid is neither refunded nor held for another examination.
Photo & signature — what the form asks
- Photo: latest passport-size photograph, not older than one month; JPG, JPEG or PNG; maximum 1 MB.
- Signature: JPG or JPEG only; maximum 1 MB.
- The notice fixes no pixel dimensions, DPI or background colour for these uploads — only the formats and the 1 MB cap above.
Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts
Do this
- Use a photograph taken within the last month — an older photo breaks the notice rule
- Keep both files well under the 1 MB cap; compress them here if a scan is heavier
- Copy your name, father's/mother's name and date of birth exactly from your Matric certificate
- Complete the OTR first, then fill the application — and submit only one application per post
Avoid this
- Do not apply thinking this is a regular teaching post — it is a five-year scheme engagement with no regularisation right
- Do not submit more than one application for the same post — it is liable to be rejected
- Do not miss the correction window — it opens only for four days, three days after the closing date, and the category cannot be changed once it closes
- Do not upload the signature as a PNG — the notice accepts only JPG/JPEG for the signature
Taiyaari checklist — keep these ready
