Photo & signature — what the form asks
- The advertisement prints no numeric photo/signature sizes — the application runs through the NAPS/NATS portals and a Microsoft Form, so upload the photo and signature in the format and size those portals ask for.
- Keep a recent colour photograph and a clear signature scan ready before you start.
- Upload only clear, readable scans; a blurred photo or signature can get the form rejected.
Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts
Do this
- Apply for only ONE trade code — B.Sc candidates must choose between code 101 and 103.
- Complete BOTH steps — NAPS (codes 101 & 103) or NATS (codes 105 & 107) enrolment, AND the mandatory Microsoft Form 'Apprenticeship Additional Data Form: Barauni Refinery 2026' on iocl.com.
- Check the 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) marks rule and the 30 November 2026 cut-off before applying.
- Keep your NATS/NAPS Establishment ID ready (NATS EBRBEC000003, NAPS E11191000001).
- Note the tentative dates: DV list on 11 December 2026, DV during 14–18 December 2026.
Avoid this
- Do not apply with a BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB or MCA degree — you are not eligible.
- Do not apply for more than one trade.
- Do not skip the Microsoft Form — the NAPS/NATS step alone does not complete the application.
- Do not rely on a CBT — some job sites wrongly list a written test for this recruitment; the notice says there is no written test.
- Do not apply with a part-time, correspondence or distance qualification.
