Eligibility & fees

  • 1,500 training seats (provisional) across 30 states/UTs — you apply for one state/UT only.
  • Graduation in any discipline, passed on or after 1 April 2022 and not later than 1 November 2026 (the result must stand declared by 1 November 2026).
  • Age: 20–28 years as on 1 November 2026 (relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years, PwBD 10 years).
  • NATS 2.0 registration with a 100% complete profile is compulsory before applying. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training, or have one year or more of job experience after qualifying, are not eligible.
  • Selection: an online test (100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes), then a Local Language Proficiency Test for the state you applied to — you are exempt if your 8th/10th/12th mark sheet shows you studied that language.
  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹800 plus GST.
  • SC / ST / PwBD: ₹175 plus GST.
  • The fee is non-refundable. Registration, edit/modification and fee payment all run in the same window, till 25 November 2026.

Photo & signature — what the form asks

  • Photo: JPG/JPEG, 20-50 KB, 200 x 230 pixels (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) — recent colour photo on a light, preferably white, background. A live photograph is also captured by webcam or phone during the application.
  • Signature: JPG/JPEG, 10-20 KB, 140 x 60 pixels — black ink on white paper, NOT in capital letters.
  • Left thumb impression: JPG/JPEG, 20-50 KB, 240 x 240 pixels at 200 DPI (3 cm x 3 cm), black or blue ink on white paper.
  • Hand-written declaration: JPG/JPEG, 50-100 KB, 800 x 400 pixels at 200 DPI (10 cm x 5 cm) — in your own handwriting, in English, not in capitals.
  • Scan everything at a minimum of 200 DPI in true colour.

Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts

Do this

  • Aim for the middle of each band — photo about 35 KB, signature about 15 KB, thumb impression about 35 KB, declaration about 75 KB
  • Write the declaration yourself in running handwriting — capital letters are not accepted there, nor in the signature
  • Complete your NATS 2.0 profile to 100% before you open the bank's form
  • For the live photo, sit in good light against a plain white or light background, with no cap or sunglasses

Avoid this

  • Do not sign in CAPITAL letters — such a signature is not accepted
  • Do not apply for more than one state — only the latest valid application is retained and the other applications' fees are forfeited
  • Do not treat this as a permanent post — it is 12 months of training on a stipend
  • Do not wait to fix a mistake later — editing closes together with registration on 25 November 2026

Taiyaari checklist — keep these ready

  • NATS 2.0 registration done and profile 100% complete (enrolment ID noted)
  • Photo ready in the 20-50 KB band (aim about 35 KB), plus a plain background ready for the live capture
  • Signature ready in the 10-20 KB band — running hand, black ink
  • Left thumb impression ready in the 20-50 KB band
  • Hand-written declaration ready in the 50-100 KB band
  • Graduation proof showing the result was declared between 1 April 2022 and 1 November 2026

Documents you will need

  • Photo — JPG, 20-50 KB, 200 x 230 px (+ live capture)
  • Signature — JPG, 10-20 KB, 140 x 60 px
  • Left thumb impression — JPG, 20-50 KB, 240 x 240 px
  • Hand-written declaration — JPG, 50-100 KB, 800 x 400 px
  • Graduation certificate / mark sheet

Common mistakes that get forms rejected

  • An incomplete NATS 2.0 profile — the bank's form cannot be completed without it
  • Signature or declaration written in capital letters
  • Files outside the KB bands — under the minimum fails just like over the maximum
  • Applying with a graduation result declared before 1 April 2022 or after 1 November 2026

How to apply — step by step

  1. Register on NATS 2.0 (nats.education.gov.in) and complete your profile 100%
  2. Open the Indian Bank careers page and start the apprentice application (from 5 November 2026)
  3. Fill in your details and choose one state/UT and three preferred districts
  4. Upload the photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration in their KB bands, and complete the live photo capture
  5. Pay the fee online — ₹800 + GST, or ₹175 + GST for SC/ST/PwBD
  6. Submit by 25 November 2026 — editing is possible only within this same window — and save the application copy

Where is the form finally submitted?
Only on the official portal, indianbank.bank.in. Convert Files only helps you prepare — dates, sizes and free tools. No form is submitted on this website, and Convert Files is not a government website.
Is everything on this page free?
Yes. Every tool and guide on Convert Files is free, works inside your browser and uploads nothing — your files never leave your device.
