You must score at least 40% in every stage and every paper; this standard cannot be lowered for any category.
- Pay is a fixed monthly amount for the first five years — ₹49,600 for Sub Registrar Grade-1, Office Superintendent and Assistant Tribal Development Officer; ₹40,800 for Sub Registrar Grade-2, Social Welfare Inspector and Head Clerk; ₹26,000 for Senior Clerk, Office Assistant and Junior Clerk — and the regular pay scale after that.

Photo & signature — what the form asks
- Photo: JPG, 5 cm height x 3.6 cm width, not more than 15 KB — passport-size, white background, with the date the photo was taken printed on it; that date must not be more than one year before 30 November 2026.
- Signature: JPG, 2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width, not more than 15 KB.
- Keep 4-5 copies of the same photo and signature — the same ones must be produced at every stage.
Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts
Do this
- Get the photo printed with its date on it, and check that the date falls within one year of 30 November 2026
- Keep both files at or under 15 KB — compress them here to the 15 KB target
- Read the whole form once more before pressing Confirm — after that, nothing can be changed
- Keep 4-5 printed copies of the same photo for the later stages
Avoid this
- Do not confirm the application with a wrong category — the category cannot be changed after confirmation
- Do not assume the OJAS One Time Registration is the application — OTR only helps fill the form; you must still apply for this advertisement
- Do not skip the prelims after paying — the fee is refunded only if you appear
- Do not upload a photo without the printed date, or one taken more than a year ago

Common mistakes that get forms rejected
- Confirming the application with a wrong detail — after confirmation, no change is possible at all
- A photo taken more than one year ago, or without the date printed on it
- Files over 15 KB — the photo and the signature carry the same tight cap
- Treating the OTR as the application and never actually applying for Advt 468/202627
