  2. Set the target size Type it in KB, or tap one of the quick sizes. The presets fill in what common exam and government forms ask for.

Questions

How do I reduce a photo to 15 KB?
Drop it above; 15 KB is already set as the target. Press Compress and download the result. Several photos can be done at once.
Will a 15 KB image still look good?
Only for something simple. 15 KB is signature territory — black ink on white compresses to almost nothing, so it stays crisp. A face photo at 15 KB has to drop to roughly 300 pixels across and will look soft.
What if the form also wants specific dimensions?
Use the presets on the page (exam photo, signature, passport) or the passport photo tool for an exact crop; then the size target is applied on top.
Is the picture uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser.
