Photo & signature — what the form asks

  • Photograph: recent colour photo, light (preferably white) background, 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, 200 x 230 pixels preferred, 20 KB to 50 KB, JPG/JPEG. A live photograph capture (webcam, or mobile via QR code) is also mandatory.
  • Signature: on white paper with black ink, 140 x 60 pixels preferred, 10 KB to 20 KB. A signature in CAPITAL letters is not accepted.
  • Left thumb impression: 240 x 240 pixels at 200 DPI (3 cm x 3 cm), 20 KB to 50 KB, JPG/JPEG, in black or blue ink.
  • Hand-written declaration — the text printed in the advertisement, written by you in English in black ink (not in capitals): 800 x 400 pixels at 200 DPI (10 cm x 5 cm), 50 KB to 100 KB. Scan everything at a minimum of 200 dpi, in true colour.

Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts

Do this

  • Prepare all four uploads to the printed sizes before you start — photo 20-50 KB, signature 10-20 KB, thumb 20-50 KB, declaration 50-100 KB
  • Keep a webcam or your phone ready — the live photograph capture is compulsory
  • Write the declaration yourself, in English, in black ink — and not in capital letters
  • Use SAVE AND NEXT and the Preview to check everything before COMPLETE REGISTRATION

Avoid this

  • Do not sign in CAPITAL letters — the signature and the declaration are both rejected in capitals
  • Do not apply if your result is awaited — the certificate must be in hand on 15 November 2026
  • Do not assume one fee covers all posts — every post is a separate application with its own fee
  • Do not click COMPLETE REGISTRATION with anything unchecked — after that click nothing can be changed

Taiyaari checklist — keep these ready

  • All four uploads ready to size — photo, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration
  • Webcam or phone ready for the mandatory live photo capture
  • Degree/PG certificate and mark sheets in hand (result-awaited candidates are not eligible)
  • Fee ready per post — ₹1,350 or ₹500
  • Application printout can be taken till 30 November 2026 — do not miss it

Documents you will need

  • Photo — 20-50 KB, 200 x 230 px, JPG/JPEG (plus the live capture)
  • Signature — 10-20 KB, 140 x 60 px, black ink
  • Left thumb impression — 20-50 KB, 240 x 240 px
  • Hand-written declaration — 50-100 KB, 800 x 400 px
  • Degree/PG certificates and category certificates
