- Complete the OTPR (One Time Profile Registration) first; the fee is paid online on psc.ap.gov.in.
Photo & signature — what the form asks
- The advertisement does not print a fixed KB size for the photo and signature — upload them in the format and size the portal asks for on the upload screen.
- Keep a recent colour photograph and a clear signature scan (signed on white paper) ready before you start.
- Upload only clear, readable scans; a blurred photo or signature can get the form rejected.
Photo & signature — do’s and don’ts
Do this
- Complete OTPR on psc.ap.gov.in before the application — the application uses the OTPR profile.
- Apply for the department and branch your degree actually matches (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical).
- Note some counters wrongly print the age limit as 42 — the detailed notification's limit is 44 years as on 1 July 2026.
- Pay the fee (₹370 or ₹250) online by 22 November 2026.
- Keep the degree certificate dated on or before 2 November 2026 ready.
Avoid this
- Do not apply with a result-awaited degree — the qualification must be held on 2 November 2026.
- Do not choose a branch different from your engineering degree.
- Do not wait for the last day; OTPR plus application plus fee all have to finish by 22 November.
- Do not ignore the −1/3 negative marking while preparing — it is printed in the notification.
- Do not create a second OTPR profile; one profile is used for all APPSC applications.

Common mistakes that get forms rejected
- Skipping OTPR and trying to apply directly — APPSC applications run only through the OTPR profile.
- Applying for a department/branch the degree does not match.
- Going by the wrong 42-year age figure circulating on some sites; the detailed notification says 44.
- Result-awaited candidates applying even though the degree must be held on 2 November 2026.
How to apply — step by step
- Open psc.ap.gov.in and complete OTPR if you have not already.
- Read Notification 27/2026 and open the AEE application for your department and branch.
- Fill the application from your OTPR profile and upload photo, signature and documents.
- Pay the fee online (₹370, or ₹250 for the exempt categories).
- Submit before 22 November 2026, 11:59 PM and save the application copy.
