Working…
Every page as its own file, the ranges you type, or chunks of a fixed length. Nothing is uploaded: the work happens inside your browser, on your own device.
How to use it
- Drop the PDF
- Choose how to split Every page, ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10, or chunks of N pages.
- Download Several files come as one zip.
Questions
- How do I extract just a few pages?
- Choose "Page ranges", type them (for example 2, 5-7) and tick "put the chosen pages into one PDF".
- Does the split PDF lose quality?
- No. Pages are copied exactly.
- How are the split files named?
- Each file is named after the original: report-page-3.pdf for single pages, report-pages-1-5.pdf for chunks, report-5-10.pdf for a typed range — so a folder of splits stays in order.
- What is the chunks option for?
- It cuts the document into equal parts — every 10 pages, say — which is handy for emailing a large file in pieces or splitting a scanned book into chapters.
- Does splitting work on a scanned PDF?
- Yes. Pages are copied, never re-rendered, so a scan splits exactly like a text PDF with nothing degraded.
- Can I split a very large PDF?
- Yes, within what your device’s memory can hold. Hundreds of pages are fine.
