Questions
- How do I make a PDF from photos on my phone?
- Open this page on the phone, tap to choose the photos, order them and press the button. It works in Safari and Chrome without any app.
- Can I combine JPG and PNG in one PDF?
- Yes, and HEIC, WebP and the rest too.
- Will the PDF be huge?
- Images are stored as JPEG at the quality you set; 90% is visually lossless and keeps the file reasonable. Lower it, or compress the PDF afterwards, if there is an upload limit.
- What page size should I choose?
- A4 suits most forms and printing in India; Letter is its US equivalent. "Same size as each image" skips the page frame entirely and keeps every pixel, which is best when the PDF is for viewing on screen rather than printing.
- Can I change the page order?
- Yes — the arrows on each image move it up or down before you build the PDF. To rotate pages or remove some afterwards, run the finished file through the organise PDF tool.
- Will the text in my scans stay selectable?
- No. Every page is a picture of your image, so words cannot be selected or searched. If you need the text itself, run the finished PDF through the image to text tool.
- How do I keep the file small enough to email?
- Lower the JPEG quality a notch — scans tolerate 80% well. If it is still too big for the upload limit, the compress PDF tool squeezes it further.
