Questions
- How do I crop a photo to a square?
- Choose 1:1, drag the picture so the part you want is inside the frame, press Crop.
- Which ratios are available?
- Square 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16 for stories, 3:4, 2:3, 35:45 for passport photos — or any custom ratio you type.
- Can I make a passport photo with this?
- Yes: the 35:45 ratio matches the Indian passport photo shape. For the full job at the exact pixel size, the passport photo tool does it in one step.
- Does the cropped image keep its format?
- By default, yes — JPG stays JPG and PNG stays PNG. You can also switch the output to JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Can I crop to an exact pixel size?
- Set the ratio to match and enter the output width; the height follows from the ratio.
- Does cropping reduce quality?
- No. The pixels inside the frame are kept exactly as they are unless you also scale the result.
